How it all began

Dinglewood Vineyard was established in 2019 in Stanton, North Shropshire by a farming family looking to try something new.

With over 60 years of experience growing crops, we set out to diversify and build something for the next generation.

Today, the vineyard is run by Jamie and Val, with Dad still getting involved and helping out in the vineyard, and Mum offering plenty of support (and the occasional nudge) behind the scenes.

What began as a simple idea to do something different and spend more time together has grown into a hands-on, rewarding venture, balanced alongside full-time jobs and retirement.

With no prior experience of growing grapes, we’ve faced a steep learning curve. But we’re proud to say we’ve produced some lovely wines and are now looking to grow and expand — enjoying a glass or two along the way
